Remove the Encoder

1. Unplug the cable from the encoder (21).
2. Using a .050 in hex wrench, loosen the two hub set
screws (AA) from the sides of the encoder. Do not
remove the screws.

3. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two
encoder mounting screws (22).
4. Pull the encoder off the rotor support (5).
If the encoder is older, like the one below, do not
reinstall it. Order encoder replacement kit (24U938)
to replace it.
