SAS-3 data cables are used to connect the optional Veritas 2U12 65.5TiB/72TB
Storage Shelf to the Veritas 5250 Appliance. SAS-3 cables have a mini-SAS HD
connector on both ends. Two 1m SAS-3 cables are shipped with each S Series
Storage Shelf. For the D Series Storage Shelves, a 2 meter cable is standard.
Longer SAS-3 cables are supported with the 2U12 Storage Shelf if needed for the
configuration.
