SensorFlash Software (Firmware Update)

The SensorFlash software is used to update the firmware of Process Sensors pyrometers. Press Flash H3 /
M3 / DI / DS firmware in the Communication / Options tab (see 7.6) to start the software, an updated firmware
file can be downloaded via the
1. Select the interface
that the pyrometer is
connected to.
2. Press "Connect".
3. Detected device
4. Click on "Open Flash
File".
5. Call up the "Downloads" di-
rectory of the previously
downloaded firmware file.
6. Select and open the appro-
priate bin file. It consists of
the series name, the year of
publication and a consecu-
tive year number.
7. Click on the "Flash"
button that is now
available.
8. Confirm security query.
9. The firmware is now
transferred to the de-
vice. Wait for the pro-
gress bar to run out
and the confirmation
message (Congratu-
lation) to appear.
10. After pressing "OK", the device is automatically disconnected
from SensorFlash.
For further use with SensorTools, the pyrometer must be recon-
nected (see 7.1
