23. CHECKS AND ADJUSTMENTS
Periodically, checks and adjustments should be performed before
and after measurement. In addition, the instrument should be
checked after long storage, transportation or when damage t o the
instrument is suspected t o have occured due to a strong shock.

The checks should be performed in the following order.
23.1 Plate
level
The glass tube of the plate level is sensitive to temperature
changes or shock.

Centre the plate level bubble
