Next, if the surveying point is
seen to be on the green line (gray
line):

Loosen the
rrght
(left) screw

slightly.

Tighten the E e R (right) screw
by the same amount.
Note : Over-tightening the adjusting
screws may mean that the
reticle will go out of adjust-
ment.

Check the adjustment by rotating
the upper part of the instrument.
The survey point should remain
centred in the reticle. If necessary,
repeat the adjustment.
7) Reattach the optical plummet fo-
cussing ring.
