-You will continue to hear the tape. The monitor does not switch to
the source (input) signal because you are still in rehearsal setting
mode.
About the preroll time
You can use the A and W keys to get access to the "Pr" display only
when the RHSL is flashing, or lights solid or the AUTO IN/OUT
indicator lights solid, and ABS time appears and the tape is stopped.
About the postroll time
The postroll time is fixed to 3 seconds.
When the optional RM-D800 remote control unit is connected to the
PCM-800, you can finely tune the postroll time as well.
Fine tuning of punch-in and out points

1 0 Press the DISPLAY key until the MEMO 1 indicator lights.
The display then shows the ABS time of your punch-in point.
Then press the A key to increment the punch-in point time, or
press the W key to decrement it. Each time either key is pressed,
the ABS time will increment or decrement by | frame.
