Without the RM-D800
The CHASE indicator flashes to indicate that the PCM-800 (slave)
is "chasing," and it lights when the two machines are locked
together.
With the RM-D800
Once locked together, the slave will duplicate every action of the
master automatically, such as rewind, normal play, fast-forward, or
stop (unless the CHASE MODE DIP switch is set to its up/"free"
mode position).
Without the RM-D800
With the RM-D800
The off-tape time code numbers show in the TAPE TIME display as
the PCM-800 starts "chasing" the master.
With RM-D800
Switch the LCD screen to the "T/C External" menu.
To disable the synchronization
Without the RM-D800
Press CHASE again.
