The sampling frequency can be changed in the next step.
If you do not press ENTER within 5 seconds after having pressed
MENU, the display will show "Push Enter Key" again.
Press ENTER once again. The display will read:
Execute Ready
You can now toggle the sampling frequency between 44.1 and
48 kHz with the + and - keys. Remember, once formatting starts,
you cannot change the sampling frequency.
If you wish to exit the format mode, press ESCAPE. You will go
back to the "Push Enter Key" screen. Then you can press ESCAPE
again to go back to the initial screen of the LCD display.
Hold RECORD and press PLAY to start formatting.
When the tape is formatted all the way to the end, it will
automatically be rewound and stop at the beginning.
