Actually, however, you cannot have access to all menus simply by
pressing MENU. See also charts on chapter 4.

Clock selection
Depending on the application or the master machine to which your
PCM-800 is slaved, select the appropriate clock by pressing the
CLOCK key (either on the RM-D800 or PCM-800) as many times as
necessary.
See the explanation of the CLOCK key on page 2-6.
Recording Time Code on the PCM-800
Using the time code generator built into the DABK-801
(1) Generator start time setting
Without the RM-D800

1 Press DISPLAY until the GEN indicator lights.

2 Use the W and A keys to enter the desired time code point from

where you wish the generator to start generating time code.
To speed up the entry, you can hold down either W or A and press
DISPLAY. Each time you press DISPLAY, the next upper (left)
two digits will appear.
With the RM-D800

1 Press MENU to get access to the "Gen Start Time" menu.

2 Press the +/- key to enter the desired start time.

To move the cursor, hold SHIFT and press the +/- key.
Alternatively, you can use the numeric keys at the "Gen Start
Time" menu to enter the desired starting time into the LOCATE
TIME window, then hold SHIFT and press ENTER.
