Operation in normal mode
T/C mode menu
¢ Pressing RECORD on the RM-D800 drops the VTR into Audio
Insert record mode only.
* If you hold IN or OUT and press STR, the RM-D800 transmits an in
or out entry command to the VTR.
Each time you press the UP/DOWN key, the corresponding point
stored in the VTR moves forward or backward in 1 frame
increments.
¢ The REC FUNCTION 1 and 2 keys put the VTR into its Audio 1
and 2 Insert modes, respectively.
This menu allows you to switch the RM-D800 to the same frame rate
as your VTR. Each time you press the + or - key in this menu, the
frame rate will change as follows in sequence:
¢ 30 Frame
¢ 29.97 Drop Frame
e 25 Frame
¢ 24 Frame
Remote functions changed/limited
REC FUNCTION keys
34 : Puts the VTR into Assemble mode.
36 : Puts the machine into Video Insert mode.
37 : Puts the machine into Audio 1 Insert mode.
38 : Puts the machine into Audio 2 Insert mode.
48 : If pressed, when the TAPE TIME display is in Timer 1 mode, the
display is cleared and shows 00.00.
Keys 36, 37 and 38 cannot operate when key 34 is activated. Inversely,
key 34 cannot operate when key 36, 37 or 38 is activated.
All other REC FUNCTION keys has no effect.
ALL SAFE/REC READY key
Toggles Standby mode on and off on the VTR.
ALL INPUT key
Toggles FULL EE mode on and off on the VTR.
AUTO INPUT key
Toggles SEL EE mode on and off on the VTR.
AUTO INPUT can operate only when REC FUNCTION key 34, 36,
37 or 38 is activated.
