2.4 Embedding a Message in the Transceiver (Embedded Message)

Embedded Message with Password

Embedded Message with Password can be used to store with a password a maximum of 64 alphanumeric characters and
symbols in the transceiver.
The transceiver profile information, such as the control number and the file name of configuration data written in the
transceiver, can be embedded with a password.
The message and the password can be written to the transceiver by using KPG-169D/ KPG-170D/ KPG-175D. The
Embedded Message with Password is stored in the transceiver as independent data from the configuration data.
The password must be entered to write a message. The message cannot be written to the transceiver unless the correct
password is entered.
The embedded messages can be read from the transceiver by using KPG-169D/ KPG-170D/ KPG-175D.
