DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER (IF EQUIPPED)

Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is an emissions control system used
in diesel engines and requires operator interaction to make sure
proper operation of the system.
For peak operation, the DPF system must be cleaned using one of
two methods, Standstill Cleaning and Maintenance Standstill
Cleaning. Standstill Cleaning is any cleaning requested by the
engine outside of the regular maintenance window (for example,
if the system detects excessive soot in the DPF canister). Mainte-
nance Standstill Cleaning is cleaning requested by the engine on
the regular maintenance interval.
NOTE:
The system will reset the maintenance interval back to zero
hours after Standstill or Maintenance Standstill Cleaning events
are performed.
