SECTION 2 - USER RESPONSIBILITIES, MACHINE PREPARATION, AND INSPECTION
11.
Function Check – Once the Walk-Around Inspection is
complete, perform a functional check of all systems in an
area free of overhead and ground level obstructions. Refer to
Section 4 for more specific operating instructions.

Platform Gate - Keep gate and surrounding area clean and
unobstructed. Verify the gate closes properly and is not bent
or damaged. Keep gate closed at all times except when
entering/exiting the platform and loading/unloading
materials.
13.
Lanyard Attach Points - During operation, occupants in the
platform must wear a full body harness with a lanyard
attached to an authorized lanyard anchorage point. Attach
only one (1) lanyard per lanyard anchorage point.
IF THE MACHINE DOES NOT OPERATE PROPERLY, TURN OFF THE MACHINE
IMMEDIATELY! REPORT THE PROBLEM TO THE PROPER MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL.
DO NOT OPERATE THE MACHINE UNTIL IT IS DECLARED SAFE FOR OPERATION.
