FRONT- PANEL CONTROLS
Thefollowing controls andjacksarelocated behind thefront panel d oor. T oopenthe door,placethe edgeof a fingeronthe leftor rightedgeof the panel a ndgentlyswingthe
doordowntowards you.
[] Main Power Switch: Pressthisswitchto apply
powerto the AVR635, Whenthe switchis pressed
in,the unit is placedina Standby mode,as indicated
bytheamberillumination surrounding t heStandby/On
Switch il. ThisbuttonMUST be pressedinto
operate the unit.Toturn the unitoff andprevent t he
useof the remotecontrol,thisswitchshouldbe
presseduntilit popsout fromthe frontpanelsothat
the wo_d"OFF" maybe readat the top of theswitch.
NOTE: T hisswitch is normally leftinthe "ON" position.
[] HeadphoneJack:Thisjackmaybe usedto lis
ten to theAVR635'soutputthrough a pairof head
phones. Be certain thatthe headphones havea stan
dard1/4" stereo phoneplug,or thatyou usean
adaptor, as needed, t o conve4 the plugon yourhead-
phones to the 1/4" jackusedon the AVR. W henthe
headphone j ackisin use,the mainroomspeaker-s will
automafically be turned off andtheunitwilloutputa
standard stereo signal. Y oumayalsouseoneof the

outputofanaudioor videoproduct to thisjack.
