if anexactmatchis not possible, picktheclosest
choicethatis ABOVE t he speaker's low%quencylimit
or crossover p ointto avoidthe creal_on o f a low
frequency "hole" where yoursystem willhaveno
bassinformation.
Whenanyneeded adjustments aremadeto the
crossovers, oneadditional adjustment is available t o
custom tailorthe wayinformation i s sentto the sub
woofer. TheL F E L P F L T lineadjusts thefre
quency cutoffof the lowpassfilterthatdetermines t he

DelaySettings
Dueto the different d istances b ehNeen t helistening
position andeachspeakerposition, the amount o f
timeit takes for sound to reach yourearstom each
channel is different. Youmaycompensate f orthisdif-
ference through the useof the delaysettings t o adjust
thetimingforthe speaker p lacement andacoustic
conditions inyourlistening roomor hometheateL
In mostcases, the settings established by EzSeVEQ
areaccurate t o undera foot.but the placement of
the microphone a ndothertactorsmayinfluence
the setting. S hould youwishto manually adjustthe
channel delaytimes,followthe insl_uctions shown
below. W henever adjustments to the delaysettings a m
maderemember t hatthe distance settings neednot
be accurate t o theinch.asthe systemisdesigned to
accommodate a typical l istening arearatherhanthe
precise measurement tromthespeakers t o a specific
"sweet s pot"posilqon.
Inaddition to providing delaying a djustments for each
individual speaker p osition, the AVR635 is amongthe
fewAN receivers t hatallows youto adlustthe delay
forthe combined outputof all speakers a sa group.
Thisfeatureiscalled AN SyncDelay; i t allows youto
compensate f ordelays to the videoimagethatmaybe
caused bythe processing i nproducts suchas digital
videodisplays, videoscalers, digital c ableor satellite
systems, or personal videorecorders. Withproper
adlustment of the setting forAN SyncDelay. youcan
eliminate the lessof lipsyncthatmaybe caused by
digital v ideoappMcations.
