ALARMS – SERIOUS ANOMALIES
If serious anomalies are detected during execution of the program, or even with the device in standby mode,
the display alerts the user with the Danger icon and the alarm code, with prefix "AF" ("allarme fatale" – "fatal
alarm).
Here again, the user must check the meaning of the code in the "Alarm Table", where alarms are identified
by "AF" followed by the specific number, and then act accordingly to prevent possible damage to the device,
the load or the installation location.

10 SETUP and PARAMETER SETTING PROCEDURES

The device has setup procedures for modifying some operating parameters.
The setup menu comprises all the functions required for setting the machine parameters and if necessary for
maintaining and inspecting the device.
These menus are password-protected to restrict access to them: the device's parameter setting menus can
only be accessed with the password supplied to authorised engineers.
There is also an intermediate level between the ordinary user and the engineer, known as "superuser".
The superuser is the body responsible for the device in the facility where it is installed.
The "superuser" password is supplied to the device's manager by the authorised engineer.
a) USER level: USER (can only read parameters).
b) SUPER level: SUPERUSER (password provided by the installation engineer).
c) TECH level: ENGINEER.
d) FABR level: FACTORY.
The tree below summarises the parameter setting menus; each point is explained in greater detail in the
points which follow:
R: Read only
R + W: Read and write
R + W *: Read and write – functions only applicable after menu has been enabled by the engineer or factory
