Make sure the O-ring is good condition and replace
it if necessary.
Coat the O-ring with engine oil.
Install the oil filler cap/dipstick with the O-ring.
OIL CHANGE
Support the scooter with its centerstand.
Start the engine, warm it up and stop it.
Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick.
Place an oil drain pan under the engine to collect the
oil, then remove the engine oil drain bolt and seal-
ing washer.
After draining the oil completely, install the new
sealing washer and drain bolt.
Tighten the drain bolt to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 24 N·m (2.4 kgf·m, 18 lbf·ft)
Fill the crankcase with recommended engine oil.
RECOMMENDED ENGINE OIL:
API service classification: SG or higher (except oils
labeled as energy conserving on the circular API
service label)
Viscosity: SAE 10W-30
JASO T 903 standard: MB
ENGINE OIL CAPACITY:
0.7 liter (0.7 US qt, 0.6 Imp qt) after draining
0.8 liter (0.8 US qt, 0.7 Imp qt) after disassembly
Check the engine oil level (page 4-10).
Make sure that there are no oil leaks.
