THE PHONE DISPLAY

The phone display is used to show call information. When idle, the display
shows the number of missed calls and the number of voice messages.

MAKING A CALL

Calls can be initiated in a number of different ways:
Traditional — Lift the handset and dial the number.
Handsfree — Press the
Call log — Dial from the call log. See the Call Log section for details on page 14.
Outside line access code is dialed automatically before any number with 7 or
more digits stored in the call log, directory, or programmable speed dial keys.
If you use the telephone keypad to dial a number, please dial the outside line
access code before the number.
You can switch a call between the handset or speakerphone during the call by
either lifting the handset or pressing the

• Retrieve a parked call from the specified park orbit.
• Park active call — system responds with the park orbit.
• Put a call on hold or retrieve a call from hold.
• Send a flash on the line when on a call.
• Cancel transfer or conference and return to call on hold.
• Join all parties in a three-way conference.
• Call Voicemail.
• Activate or deactivate speakerphone.
