9.5 NK36-500 Log Set Installation
NOTE: Log numbers are located on the bottom or side of each log. Refer to the following instructions and illustration for proper
placement. Your components may look different than the ones shown.
CAUTION: Do not place logs directly over burner port holes. Improper log placement may affect flame appearance and may cause
excessive soot to build upon the glass.
•
If converting to propane, complete the conversion before installing the log set. Follow the conversion instructions included
with the kit.
•
If installing a panel set, complete installation of panel set before log installation
•
Install all light bulbs into the front and rear ember bed light kits before log installation.
1. Remove valance from fireplace.
2. Place log #N36-1 and log #N36-2 on corresponding pins on burner (not shown). Logs must lie flat on media tray. Failure to
do so will negatively affect the flame
3. Place log #N36-3 on the corresponding pin on top of #N36-2. Rotate the opposite end of #N36-3 towards the back of the
fireplace.
4. Place log #N36-4 on the corresponding pin on top of #N36-3. The other end of the #N36-4 log will lay on the log plate lo-
cated in the rear center of the fireplace.
5. Fill back media tray with crushed glass media.
6. Place log # N36-5 so the left side of the log aligns on the pin on top of #N36-1. Place the right side of the log on the ex-
posed pin on log #N36-4.
