3. Disconnect all hoses from the swing motor. Plug
the disconnected ends of the hoses.

1. Loosen bolts (1) (8 used) to remove floor plate (2).

2. Turn cap (1) to the stop to release air pressure
from the hydraulic oil tank.
Remove cap (1).

CAUTION:
1. Escaping hydraulic fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin or eyes, causing serious in-
jury. Avoid this hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines.
2. Hydraulic oil and components may be hot just after operation. Hot hydraulic oil may spout,
possibly causing severe burns. Be sure to wait for hydraulic oil and component to cool be-
fore starting work.
