Disassemble Mechanical-Type Spool
[Offset (only in EX2OUR-2), Travel Right, Auxil-
iary, Travel Left, Blade)
1. Remove socket bolts (7) and (8), cover (9), and
plate (13).
NOTE: As for the mechanical-type spools in
EX2OUR-2, item (8) is a screw, not a socket
bolt.
: 4 mm (EX2OUR-2)
5 mm (EX3OUR-2, EX4OUR-2)
2. Remove spool (14) with socket bolt (10). Spring
seats (11), spring (12) and plate (13) are also
removed at this time.
3. Remove oil seal (15) from body (1).
NOTE: As for the mechanical-type spools in
EX2OUR-2, item (15) is a wiper, not an oil
seal.
4. Sandwich spool (14) between wooden plates,
and clamp in a vise.
Remove socket bolt (10), spring seats (11) (2
used), spring (12), and plate (13) from spool
(14).

CAUTION: Socket bolt (10) and spring
seat (11) may fly off by the force of spring
(12) when removing socket bolt (10). Pre-
vent personal injury by holding down
spring seat (11) and spring (12) by hand
while slowly loosening socket bolt (10).
