3. Pull out piston rod (2) approximately 200 mm and
loosen cylinder head (11). Remove piston rod (2)
from cylinder tube (1).
NOTE: Be sure to pull piston rod (2) straight so as not
to damage the sliding surfaces.
2. Unlock cylinder head (11) by unbending the lock
washer.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage cylinder tube (1)
when locking or unlocking cylinder head (11).

Disassemble Cylinders
1. Place the cylinder horizontally on a workbench us-
ing a crane and secure it, as illustrated. Drain hy-
draulic oil from the cylinder.
