Assemble Mechanical-Type Spool
(Offset (only in EX2OUR-2), Travel Right, Auxil-
iary, Travel Left, Blade)
1. Sandwich spool (14) between wooden plates,
and clamp in a vise. Install plate (13), spring
(12), spring seat (11) (2 used) onto spool (14).
Tighten socket bolt (10) into spool (14).
IMPORTANT: Apply LOCTITE #271 to the
threaded part of socket bolt (10)
before tightening it.
: EX2OUR-2: 4 mm
EX3OUR-2, EX4OUR-2: 5 mm
EX2OU R-2:
5.2 to 7.4 N-m
( 0.53 to 0.75 kgf•rn, 3.8 to 5.4 lbf•ft )
EX3OUR-2:
5.9 to 7.8 NI-m
( 0.6 to 0.8 kgf•m, 4.3 to 5.8 lbf•ft )
EX4OUR-2:
9.8 to 12.7 N•rn
( 1 to 1.3 kgf•rn, 7.2 to 9.4 lb•ft )

2. Install oil seal (15) into body (1).
NOTE: As for the mechanical-type spools in
EX2OUR-2, install wiper (15) and 0-ring (45).
3. Insert the spool assembly into body (1).
4. Install cover (9) and plate (13) onto body (1) us-
ing socket bolts (7) and (8).
NOTE: As for the mechanical-type spools in
EX2OUR-2, item (8) is a screw, not a socket
bolt.

EX3OUR-2, EX4OUR-2: 5 mm

7.3 to 10 N•rn
( 0.74 to 1.02 kgf•m, 5.4 to 7.4 lbf•ft )
