Assemble Pump Device (EX3OUR-2 )
Before assembling the pump device, clean each part
with a cleaning oil and dry it sufficiently. Apply a film
of hydraulic oil to the inner parts before installing
them. Especially, apply a film of hydraulic oil suffi-
ciently to frictional sliding parts to prevent their sei-
zure.
Be sure to use a new 0-ring, oil seal, packing, and
needle bearing if they are removed.
1. Install shaft (48) into body S (1). Then, install
oil seal (46) and retaining ring (47).

NOTE: When bearing (45) has been replaced, be-
fore installing oil seal (46) and retaining ring
(47), press bearing (45) onto shaft (48) and
install retaining ring (43).
2. Install retainer (35), spring (36), and retainer
(35) (in this order) into cylinder block (10).
3. Press retainer (35) and spring (36) to install re-
taining ring (34).

4. Install three needles (38) into cylinder block
(10). Mount holder (9) onto needles (38).
5. Install two disc springs (5) and washer (4) onto
stopper pin A (3) and install them into body S
(1).
6. In the same procedure as step (5) above, install
two disc springs (42) and washer (4) onto stop-
per pin B (44) and install them into body S (1).
NOTE: The lengths of stopper pin A (3) and stopper
pin B (44) are different. Refer to the assem-
bling drawing when installing them.
7. Install two ceramic balls (41) into swash plate
(40). Then, install swash plate (40) into body S
(1).
