Assemble Travel Device (EX2OUR-2, EX4OUR-2)
Before reassembling, thoroughly clean disassembled
parts and dry them with compressed air. Replace
worn or damaged parts with new ones. It is important
to apply hydraulic oil to the sliding surface of parts in
order to protect the parts from seizures.
Replace all 0-rings, oil seals, back-up rings and bear-
ings with new ones, if disassembled.
1. Install oil seal (8) to body (33).
2. Drive shaft assembly (43) into body (33) using a
plastic hummer.
3. Install two balls (9) and swash plate (11) into
body (33).
4. Install seals (17) and (19) to cylinder (15).
NOTE: Seals (17), (19) consist of seal ring (A), O-
ring (B) and back-up ring (C). Install seal ring
(A), 0-ring (B) and back-up ring (C) to cylin-
der (15), in that order.
5. Install 0-ring (31) and back-up ring (28) to ring
(18).
6. Join cylinder (15) and ring (18).
7. Install cylinder (15) and ring (18) assembly into
body (33).
NOTE: After installing cylinder (15) and ring (18) as-
sembly, press only on cylinder (15) further into
body (33), to secure the swash plate in place.
8. Install retainer (32), spring (36) and retainer (32)
into rotor (37), in that order.
9. Push down and hold retainer (32) and spring (36)
using pressing tool (ST 4123) and press to install
retaining ring (27).

10. Insert three pins (12) to rotor (37). Place holder
(10) onto pins (12).
11. Install nine plunger (16) and holder (39) as a unit
to rotor (37).
12. Install rotor assembly into body (33).
