Clean the outside of the swing device.
Before disassembly, put aligning marks on body
(22), case (18), and case (15) to aid in reassembly.
Do not remove the plugs, pins (21) and (1), ball
bearings (13) and (3) unless replacement is re-
quired.
1. Put case (15) secured on a workbench. Re-
move the relief valve assembly, socket bolt
(23), body (22) and valve plate (4), in that order.

NOTE: As valve plate (4) may be stuck to body (22),
take care not do drop valve plate (4) when
removing body (22).
2. Remove pin (21) and 0-ring (2) from case (18).
3. Remove rotor (10) and plungers (9) as an as-
sembly. Remove thrust plate (12).
NOTE: Take care not to damage the sliding surface
of thrust plate (12).
