Disassemble Travel Device (EX3OUR-2)
Before disassembling, make matching marks on
housing (7) and brake valve (1) to aid in assembly.
Clean disassembled parts using solvent, and place
them in order by sections to aid in assembly.

CAUTION: Weight of travel device
45.0 kg (99 lb)
1. Remove six socket bolts (46), brake valve (1)
and valve plate (3).
NOTE: Valve plate (3) may come out together with
brake valve (1) so that be careful not to
damage valve plate (3) by dropping it.
: 8 mm
2. Remove two pins (2) and three 0-rings (43)
from brake valve (1).
3. Attach eye bolts to the socket bolt (46) hole on
housing (7). Use a hoist to lift and remove the
housing (7) as a unit from the vise.

4. Remove 0-ring (4) from housing (7).
5. Remove rotor assembly, swash plate (10), two
steel balls (11), two swash plate control pistons
(33) and two springs (32) from housing (7).
6. Remove nine pistons (6), plate (35), retainer
holder (38) and three pins (39) from rotor (5).
A
CAUTION: When removing retaining ring
(44), be sure to press and hold
washer (42) and spring (41) us-
ing a press.
Otherwise, washer (42) and
spring (41) may jump out, result-
ing in severe personal injury.
7. Remove retaining ring (44) from rotor (5), then
remove washer (42), spring (41) and spring seal
(40).

8. Remove three plugs (18) from cover (27). Re-
move plug (12) from ring gear (9).
