19. Remove seven socket bolts (20), body (22) and
valve plate (21) from body (33).
NOTE: Valve plate (21) may come out together with
body (22) so that be careful not to damage
valve plate (21) by dropping it.
29. Remove shaft assembly (43) from body (33) by
tapping shaft assembly (43) with a plastic
hammer.
NOTE: Never disassemble bearing (42) except
when replacing it.
: 8 mm
30. Remove oil seal (8) from body (33).
20. Remove pin (23), 0-rings (29) and (30) from
body (33).
21. Remove rotor assembly from body (33).
22. Remove nine pistons (16), holders (39), (10)
and three pins (12) from rotor (37).
A
CAUTION: When removing retaining ring
(27), be sure to press and hold
retainer (32) and spring (36) us-
ing a press.
Otherwise, retainer (32) and
spring (36) may jump out, result-
ing in severe personal injury.
23. Remove retaining ring (27) from rotor (37), then
remove retainer (32), spring (36) and retainer
(32).
A
CAUTION: Be sure to reduce air pressure
when using compressed air.
Cover ring (18) with cloths when
removing the ring (18) using
compressed air to avoid sudden
flying off.
24. Input Compressed air into oil passage (A),
located in body (33), using an air gun, to
remove ring (18).

25. Remove backup ring (28) and 0-ring (31) from
ring (18).
26. Pull out cylinder (15) from body (33).
27. Remove seals (17) and (19) from cylinder (15).
28. Remove swash plate (11) and two balls (9) from
body (33).
