Clean the ruler
Procedure
1. Open the top cover of the printer.
2. Put on the Colorado 1650 approved gloves.
3. Dampen a lint free cloth with the cleaner IPA and clean the left side of the ruler until you reach
the printhead carriage. Make sure that the lint free cloth covers the front and back of the ruler.
4. Close the top cover.
5. Start the maintenance action via the operator panel. Make sure that the [Advanced automatic
nozzle optimization] is deselected. For more information, see
page 182.
6. Wait until the printhead carriage is in cleaning position.
7. Open the top cover.
8. Dampen a lint free cloth with the cleaner IPA and clean the right-hand side of the ruler.
9. Close the top cover.
10. On the operator panel, tap [Completed] to end the maintenance action.
11. Dispose the gloves and cloths as chemical waste according to local regulations.
