Machine Controls and Indicators

Tilt Warning Light and Alarm

This red illuminator indicates that the chassis is on a slope. If the boom is above horizontal and the

machine is on a slope, the tilt alarm warning light will illuminate, an alarm will sound, available

functions are placed in Creep speed, and drive is cut out in direction of travel. Drive in the opposite

direction may be allowed under certain conditions.

If tilt warning light Is illuminated when boom is raised or extended, retract and lower to below horizontal

then reposition machine so that it is within the limits of the maximum operating slope before extending

boom or raising boom above horizontal.

When illuminated, the light indicates the wire ropes are loose or broken and must be repaired or

adjusted prior to use.
