Operation
17. Press the left pedal forward.
The pick-up folder (16) with the piping strip is lowered.
18. Press the left pedal forward.
The flap clamp (14) with the flap (15) swivels in.
19. Press the left pedal forward.
The sewing process starts.
To make positioning corrections:
1. Press the left pedal back.
Information
Depending on the selected pedal mode ( p. 137), the loading process
is completed either using inching operation or automatically.
With a press on the
up piping strip can be released again.

The folding plates close.
The piping strip is blown against the folder by air nozzles fitted in
the transport clamps. For setting up the blowing mode, see chapter
Programming ( p. 134).
The flap clamp (12) with the pocket bag (10) swivels in.
The flap clamps on the transport clamps close.
• First pedal tap: The folding plates open, and the pick-up folder
swivels back to its initial position
• Second pedal tap: The transport clamps lift
• Third pedal tap: The transport carriage returns to its waiting position
