Operation
11. Press the left pedal forward.
The piping strip is incised and picked up by the pick-up folder (18).
12. Press the left pedal forward.
The folding plates close.
13. Press the left pedal forward.
Flap clamps (10) and (14) close.
14. Press the left pedal forward.
The sewing process starts.
To make positioning corrections:
1. Press the left pedal back.
Information
Depending on the selected pedal mode ( p. 137), the loading process
is completed either using inching operation or automatically.
With a press on the
up piping strip can be released again.

The transport carriage moves to the loading position.
The transport clamps are lowered.
The pick-up folder (18) with the piping strip is lowered.
The piping strip is blown against the folder by air nozzles fitted in
the transport clamps. For setting up the blowing mode, see chapter
Programming ( p. 134).
The flap clamp (10) with the flap (8) and the flap clamp (14) with the
pocket bag (15) swivel in.
Flap clamps (10) and (14) open, lift and swivel out.
• First pedal tap: The folding plates open, and the pick-up folder
swivels back to its initial position
• Second pedal tap: The transport clamps lift
• Third pedal tap: The transport carriage returns to its waiting position
