Ground connection
The ground connection is via a cable lug that must be mechanically connected to the ground
connection of the measuring device.

Use connecting cables with a cross-section of at least 0.25 mm
The temperature specification of the cable must be at least 20 °C (68 °F) higher than the
maximum ambient temperature in the application.

No special measures for potential equalization are required.

Ensuring the degree of protection

The measuring device fulfills all the requirements for IP67 degree of protection, Type 4X
enclosure.
To guarantee IP67 degree of protection, Type 4X enclosure, carry out the following steps after
the electrical connection:
1. Check that the housing seals are clean and fitted correctly. Dry, clean or replace the
seals if necessary.
2. Tighten all housing screws and screw covers.
3. Firmly tighten the cable glands.
