If the detector will not be used for a week or more, fill the sample and
reference cells with isopropanol.
If the detector is to be exposed to sub-freezing temperatures, an
antifreeze flush, such as methanol must be used. Ideally, you are
suggested to expel residual solution out of the detector and to fill the
sample and reference cells with isopropanol.
