2.4 Installation Environment Check

2.4.1 Construction Check
Implement the following construction checks:
l
Check civil work and make sure that indoor walls are dry.
l
The equipment room must be large enough for holding all cabinets.
l
The door must be greater than 3 meters in height and 1 meter in width.
l
The load bearing capacity for the equipment floor must be more than 450 kg/m
bearing capacity for the non-equipment floor must be at least 300 kg/m
l
Use air conditioners to keep the temperature and humidity within range.
l
Take dust-proof measures to protect walls and roof.
l
Lighting wires and power cables must be grounded and hidden.
l
Make sure that no drain pipe passes through the equipment room.
l
Label the location and measurement of the reserved hidden ducts. The hole size must
be 400 mm × 400 mm. Ducts and troughs must be damp-proof.
l
The anti-shock level must be up to seven.
l
Mount lightning-arrester or rod to avoid lightning strike. Ground all metal pipes at the
entrance of the equipment room.
