Configuring the Network

The following parameters can be configured for the network:
Label
Description
DHCP address
If DHCP mode is selected, the manual entries are disabled and are not used
Hostname
Specify a hostname.
IP address
Specify an IP Address in xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx format
Network Mask
Specify a network mask in (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) format.
Gateway
Specify the gateway address in (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) format.
Address
After submitting the new information, you are asked to confirm the change.

Configuring the User

The following parameters can be configured for the user:

Access level
Access level name
Password
Repeat password

Description
Select the SCSI ID for the autoloader.
NOTE: This feature is not available for the LTO version of the FastStor 2.
Select the SCSI ID for the drive.
Select the mode for the autoloader. Refer to
on page 22.
Select Yes or No.
Description
There are three user account levels available in the system.
The name for each user account level can be changed. The
names entered here are used on the login screen. The currently
logged in user account level name is displayed at the bottom of
the left banner on each page
The password for each user account level can be changed. In
order to change the password for the selected password remove
the **** that are the default and type in a new password.
When changing the access level name, a new password has to
be entered for the new access level. It can be the old password
or a completely new one, but the password must be entered.
This entry must match the previous entry.
An optional operator panel access pin code is used to control
access to the operator panel.
