1. Park the vehicle on a safe place and turn
the air conditioner off.
2. If steam is coming out, turn the ignition
off. if it is not, run the engine at idling.
3. After the engine has cooled, stop the
engine. Carefully open the hood and
check the components.
4. If the drive belt is broken, engine coolant
is leaking, or the coolant level is low ect.,
contact a Perodua dealer immediately.
5. Add coolant if the coolant level is
insuficient. (See section 13)
6. Have the vehicle checked by a Perodua
dealer as soon as possible.
The engine is more prone to overheat in
summer. The following should be checked
regularly:
• Water leakage in the cooling system
• Water level of the radiator and reserve
tank
• Radiator fin clogging
• Drive belt tension
If the engine overheats frequently, have the
cooling system checked by a Perodua dealer

Flat tire

WARNING
• If your vehicle has a flat tire, pull off
the road.
Avoid changing a flat tire on a slope.
• Move all passengers out of the ve­
hicle to a safe place.
• Make sure the parking brake is ap­
plied, and the manual transmission
is in 1st or in reverse, or the auto­
matic transmission in®·
Chock
1. Chock the tire, located diagonally oppo­
site to the flat tire, at the opposite end.
This is the most effective location for a
chock.
For improved safety, chock back and
forth of the fire, if possible.
