Before fold the rear seatback or rise up the
rear seat cushion, insert the seat belt web­
bing into the rear seat belt hanger so that it
will not be pinched by the seat.

To fold rear seatback
Unlock the seatback and fold it forward.
CAUTION
When returning the seatback to its up­
right position, be careful not to pinch the
webbing of the seat belt with the seat
back. Pinching the webbing may result in
damage to the webbing or otherwise im­
pair the effectiveness of the seat belt.

WARNING
To reduce the risk and/or severity on
personal injury In the event of an acci­
dent:
• Never allow anyone to ride In the
luggage room. It is not designed for
occupants.
• Do not pile anything in the luggage
room higher than the seatback.
• Make sure that the rear seatback
has been returned to the upright
position and locked securely with
seat belts fully visible.
