11.Slowly pour engine oil.
For recommended engine oil and its
capacity, see Section 14.
12.lnstall the oil filler cap by hand.
13. Wait a few minutes and check the engine
oil level.
14.Run the engine and check if engine oil is
leaking from the oil filter or drain plug.
Any leak indicates improper installation
of the oil filter or drain plug.
15.Turn the ignition off and wait a few min­
utes.
Check the engine oil level again and add
oil, if necessary.
WARNING
• Clean any spill oil. It may cause fire
if It Is left on a hot component.
• Wash your hands thoroughly.
• Prolonged contact with used engine
oil could cause skin cancer.
• Never drain the used oil to the
ground, sewer, etc. Be sure to dis­
pose of the used oll at a place with
adequate faclllties. It Is recom­
mended to change the oil at a
Perodua dealer.
• Securely Install the oll filler cap. If
not, oil consumption may Increase
and engine oll may splashed on the
components, which may cause fire.

• Follow the coolant manufacturer's in­
structions.
• Keep the coolant/water ratio that
matches the lowest temperature of
your local region.
