4. Unscrew and remove the spark plug
with a spark plug wrench.
5. Check the insulator tip of the spark plug
to see if it is light brown without any
fouling. If it is not, have the spark plug
cleaned by an authorized Perodua
dealer.
CAUTION
Do not allow dirt or anything to fall into
the spark plug holes. It may cause engine
damage.

6. Check the gap of the new spark plugs
with a spark plug gap gauge.
Bend the ground electrode to adjust
spark plug gap as specified, if neces­
sary.
For recommended spark plugs, see Sec­
tion 14.
CAUTION
Do not adjust spark plug gap of the used
spark plug. Otherwise it may cause en­
gine damage.
7. Install the spark plug securely.
CAUTION
Do not overtighten the plug. Otherwise it
may cause engine damage.
8. Reconnect the spark plug wire in correct
order.
