• There are cases where the transmitter
may not function properly, depending
upon the surrounding conditions, for
instance, when there are facilities that
are emitting strong electric waves,
such as a generating p!ant, high-volt
age wires, broadcasting station, and
TV tower.
• The transmitter has incorporated pre
cision electronic parts. Hence, be sure
to observe the following points. Fail
ure to observe these points may cause
malfunctions.
• Never apply strong impacts or pres
sure to the transmitter.
• Never leave the transmitter under di
rect sunlight or high temperature.
• Do not allow water to get to the trans-
mitter.
To lock doors with transmitter:
After confirming that all doors are closed,
press the "LOCK/UNLOCK" button of the
transmitter. Then, all doors will be locked.
The clearance lamp/tail lamp flashes once
after the doors have been locked. In this
way, you can confirm that the locking has
been made.
2-3
To unlock doors with transmitter:
When the "LOCK/UNLOCK" button of the
transmitter is pressed, all doors will be un
locked. With the room lamp switch set to the
"DOOR" position, the room lamp goes on for
approximately fifteen seconds and the clear
ance lamp/tail lamp flashes twice after the
doors have been unlocked. In this way, you
can confirm that the unlocking has been
made.
CAUTION
• When you leave your car, be sure to
confirm that the locking has been
made securely by pulling the door
handle by your hand.
• When the key is still inserted into the
ignition key cylinder at "ON" position,
the transmitter cannot be operated so
that you may be reminded that the key
is still in the ignition key cylinder.
Replacement of battery
The button battery incorporated inside has
a lifetime of approximately 2 years on the
assumption that the locking/unlocking op
erations are made 10 times a day.
When the operation becomes unstable or
the operation becomes no longer possible,
most likely the battery has been consumed.
Please, consult a Perodua dealer.
