27) Adjust the U-shaped handle onto the tool shaft and secure it in place with the corresponding screw.
28) Tighten the screw firmly.
29) Adjust the cover over the shaft and U-shaped handle.
30) +31) Tighten the screws of the cover firmly.
32) Remove the safety element from the front wheel.
33) +34) Remove the nut and screws.
35) Install the front wheel with the appropriate screws and nuts.
36) Tighten the screws and install the safety element.
37) +38) Adjust the safety element.
39) Remove the rear wheels.
40) Remove the safety element that adjusts the blades.
41) Adjust the blades correctly.
42) +43) Insert the safety element.
44) Clamp the switch and clutch cables with plastic straps.
45) +46) Adjust the position of the cables.

PRE-OPERATION CHECK

Engine oil (Fig. 4, 5, 6)
Caution: Running the engine with low oil level will cause serious engine damage.
• Remove the oil filler cap and wipe the dipstick clean.
• Insert the dipstick into the oil filler neck, but do not screw it in.
• If the oil level is low, fill to the top of the oil filler neck with the recommended oil.
• Use high-detergent, 4-stroke engine oil.
• Caution: Using non-detergent oil or 2-stroke engine oil could shorten the engine's service life.
• SAE 10w-30 is recommended for general, all temperature use. Other viscosities shown in the following
figure (Fig. 4) might be used when the average temperature in your area is within the indicated range.
Oil filler hole
Transmission gear oil (Fig. 7)
• Place the tiller on a level surface and remove the oil filler cap.
• The oil should be level with the lower edge of the oil filler hole.
• Add high quality engine oil if the level is low.
Air filter (Fig. 8)
• Check the air filter for dirt or obstruction of filtering elements.
