• Lower the handle slightly so that the front of the machine is raised about 6-8°.
• To use the tiller optimally, try to hold the machine at the angle shown while you are tilling the ground.
Tips for proper use
• Adjust the handlebar height to a comfortable position (waist height for normal tilling).
• Should the machine jerk forward while tilling, press down the handlebars, if the machine will not move forward, move the handlebars from side to side.
• In order to properly and easily turn the machine during operation, lower the handlebars to bring the center of gravity towards the rear and then make the
turn.

In an emergency (Fig. 22)
1) Turn the engine switch to the OFF position.

1) Release the clutch lever to the DISENGAGED position and shift lever to the neutral position. (Fig. 23)
2) Move the throttle lever fully to the right. (Fig. 24)
3) Turn the engine switch to the OFF position. (Fig. 25)
4) Turn the fuel valve to the OFF position. (Fig. 26)
