8.1

Introduction

For easier operation the charging station is equipped with an HMI to display a user interface.
Alternatively, the charging station and dispenser are also available as an equipment variant
without HMI.
8.2

Operation via HMI

The user interface on the parent charging station guides you through the charging process.
You can change the language of the user interface and make other settings.
Menu bar
The menu bar is available during the entire charging process.
The menu bar consists of the following elements:

If an event generates an alert (Page 70), the information is displayed in the menu bar.
• Date and time
The time is factory set to the UTC time zone. When the charging station is connected to
the Internet, the time is synchronized. Information on how to set the time manually can
be obtained from your Siemens partner.

To go to the general settings (Page 68), press this display element.

To change the language of the user interface (Page 62), press this element.

You can change the language of the user interface using the language selection screen.
