Temperature monitoring
The integrated temperature monitoring of the charging cable ensures safe transfer of the
charging power. Temperature sensors monitor the charging contacts DC+ and DC- during the
entire charging process. If the temperature at one of the charging contacts rises above 90 °C,
the charge control system switches off the power supply to the charging cable immediately
and safely.

Decentralized charge points

Depending on the equipment variant, the charging station is designed to supply various
distributed charge points for electric vehicles with charging current via a fixed DC cable.
Charge points
You can operate one of the following charge points for electric vehicles at the charging
station:
• SICHARGE UC Dispenser
• SICHARGE MastHood
• SICHARGE MastPanto
Routing cables between the charging station and the charge point
The DC charging cables from the charging station to the SICHARGE UC Dispenser, SICHARGE
MastHood, or SICHARGE MastPanto must be installed either underground or routed directly
on the ground. We recommend using shielded cables when routing cables above ground to
reduce any electromagnetic radiation of the cables. If there is still interference in the
frequency spectrum, further measures may be necessary, for example, using EMC filters or
ferrites, which must be attached to the starting point of the DC charging cable.
Additional information
For more information on connecting and operating charge points together with the charging
station, refer to the following documentation:
