Connecting the charging cable
Connecting the vehicle
If you have not yet connected the charging cable to the vehicle, you are prompted after the
authentication to connect the plug with your vehicle.
Explosion or electric shock
If you are using a damaged charging cable or a damaged charging socket, you may cause
explosions, electric shock or short-circuits.
• Check the charging cable, the charging plug and the charging socket of the vehicle for

• Never plug the charging plug into a damaged charging socket.
• If the charging cable or the plug-in connection is damaged during charging, immediately

The charging plug is locked and the vehicle and charging station set up a connection.
Communication setup may take up to 60 seconds. If communication has not been
successfully established after 60 seconds, remove the charging cable and restart the process.
