Cause
[Cause 1] The device is not regis-
tered with the backup service (un-
registered).
[Cause 2] Occurred due to timing
while the device registration desti-
nation is switched from the sales
tenant (Organization) to the cus-
tomer (tenant).
[Cause 3] The backup service li-
cense has been disabled or can-
celed.
[Cause 4] The customer tenant has
been deleted.
A time-out occurred during the
communication between the Ac-
cess Token Provider and Cloud.
An error attributed to a network fail-
ure occurred.
Connection with the proxy server
failed.

7. Backup/Restoration
Remedy
See the backup service's user's
guide.
Enable the device to connect to
Cloud in the following procedure.
1. Connect the device to the
the network.
2. Set the device proxy.
3. Make sure that the proxy
server set in Procedure 2
operates normally.
4. Make sure that the proxy
server set in Procedure 2 al-
lows the device to access
the Cloud URL.
5. If the problem is not re-
solved by performing the
Procedures 1 to 4, check the
following items.
• The device is connec-
ted the proper network
environment.
• Proper values are set
in [Settings/Registra-
tion] -> [Network] of the
device.
Enable the device to connect to
Cloud in the following procedure.
1. Connect the device to the
the network.
2. Set the device proxy.
3. Make sure that the proxy
server set in Procedure 2
operates normally.
4. Make sure that the proxy
server set in Procedure 2 al-
lows the device to access
the Cloud URL.
