3.2. Controls

Names and functions of the controls in Figure 9
A. Accessory valve.
•
Used for controlling accessories (HakkiFeed log racks)
B. AC-10 control lever
•
The lever is used to release the operating pressure of the automatic chain
tensioner (AC10) by turning the lever to the OFF position when replacing the
saw chain, for example.
C. Control valve of the out-feed conveyor (accessory) and multiplier knife
•
Lever up/down: turns the out-feed conveyor to the right/left
•
Lever right: multiplier knife is lowered, Lever left: multiplier knife is raised.
D. Adjusting the amount of saw chain oil
•
When the valve is turned anticlockwise (+), the electronic saw chain pump
feeds more oil to the saw bar. When the valve is turned clockwise (-), the pump
feeds less oil.
E. Control valve of the out-feed conveyor's belt (and XL Conveyor as an accessory)
•
Upper position: - Front position causes the belt to move forward
•
Middle position: The conveyor belt does not run
