5 .1 3 Securing Tw in Pipe Polypropylene Vent ing
Vent ing m anufact urer's use a device t o secure

m echanism is necessary for any use of t win pipe
polypropylene vent ing on exhaust or air int ake.
Securing m echanism is for indoor use only and
should not be used in out door applicat ions.
Follow vent ing m anufact urer's inst ruct ions for
applying t he securing m echanism on t win pipe
polypropylene vent ing .

Place clam p so etched "UP" is facing up.
2.
Open clam p slightly by separating circular areas from each
other.
Slide male end of first pipe through open clamp so the

shoulder of the fem ale end of the pipe stops the clam p from
sliding off the pipe.
4.
I nsert the m ale end of the second pipe into the clam p on the
"up" etched side. Force the two pipes together.
5.
Verify the two pipes are secure together with clam p in place.
