6 .8 Cent ra l H ea t ing Syst em
Boiler is designed for use in a sealed cent ral heat ing syst em .
Design the system to operate with flow temperatures of up to
176° F ( 80° C) , t ake pum p head, expansion t ank size, m ean
radiat or t em perat ure, et c. int o account .
Boiler is supplied wit h t he following com ponent s:
Pressure relief va lve - 30.0 psi ( 2.1 bar) . Boiler int ernal
pressure switch will shut boiler off below 7.25 psi (.5 bar)
and above 43.5 psi ( 3.0 bar) .
Pressure ga uge - t o indicat e t he syst em pressure t o be
m aint ained.
By- pa ss ( 7 5 , 1 0 0 & 1 2 5 ) - Boiler incorporat es an
automatic by-pass, However, where all radiators are fitted
wit h t herm ost at ic radiat or valves, an ext ernal by- pass m ust
be fitted.

6 .9 Frost Prot ect ion M ode
Frost prot ect ion m ode is int egrat ed int o t he appliance when
elect ricit y is connect ed t o t he boiler, regardless if power is "on"
or "off".
I f boiler wat er t em perat ure falls below 41° F / 5° C boiler will
fire on its minimum setting until flow temperature of 86°F /
30° C is reached.
6 .1 0 Pum p Prot ect ion
Pum p and 3 way valve prot ect ion will aut om at ically operat e for
1 m inut e in every 24 hours of inact ivity t o prevent seizing.
